Baker

Making a difference...

BAKER was founded by Dutch immigrant Siebe Baker in Michigan - USA and since 1920, his son Hollis Baker has been at the helm continuing the family tradition. In particular, the brand creates collections that make a difference using mosaic and marquee techniques, leading the path in interior decoration by creating new trends and applications rather than being a follower.

Baker gives products a different emphasis with its unique design approach, quality materials, stellar workmanship and smooth finishes. For many years, Baker has undertaken many different projects with important figures such as Kem Weber, Joseph Urban, Robsjohn Gibbings, Finn Juhl, Charles Pfister, Albert Hadley and many others and it is continuing its tradition of creating distinguished works of design through its world-famous collections, such as Barbara Barry, Thomas Pheasant, Bill Sofield, Laura Kirar, Jacques Garcia, The Paganis and Michael S. Smith. With each piece bearing his own personal touch, European Stately Homes designs are one of the prominent collections of the BAKER brand, brought together under the stewardship of Sir Wakefield, international antiques expert. Baker also brought its collections to a whole new level through design concepts inspired by the works of two legendary figures, Tony Duquette and Andre Arbus. Extraordinary results that come with a combination of eclectic luxury with original design encourage Baker to create collections that underline the elegance of comfort.
